I'm a software engineer who enjoys building products that sit at the intersection of AI, backend systems, and everyday usability. Most of my work has been about turning messy technical constraints into software that feels reliable, fast, and easy to use.
Currently, I'm the CTO at GiveThanks, where I lead a three-engineer team building and operating a mobile community platform used by more than 1,000 people. I oversee architecture, product development, testing, and deployment across Android, iOS, and backend systems, with recent work spanning real-time voice experiences, video calling, and scalable APIs.
Previously, I was the founding engineer at Alactive, where I developed a multi-agent platform integrated with WhatsApp, Gmail, Outlook, web clients, and multiple property-management systems. Before that, I worked across backend and product-focused roles at Datafinity, GO PLATFORM, and Brighter Generation.
Outside of work, I build products of my own, including EthioTrade.org, Roommate.et, Tabs, and an AI-powered application tracking system.

Apr 2026 - Present Lead a three-engineer team through the end-to-end development and launch of GiveThanks, owning system architecture, feature planning, code quality, testing, and deployment across Android, iOS, and backend systems.
